Abbie

Abbie spent her early years in the backwoods of Ohio oscillating between the family farm and various dodgy basements. Both environments cultivated an eclectic and incurable musical dependency.  In an effort to turn this into something useful, she studied Popular Culture with a focus on modern music history at the Bachelors level in the US and Masters level in the UK. The quintessential dirty rock aunty, Abbie spends most of her time (and money) at gigs of all genres across the south coast making sure rock babies who fall in the pit get up safely, the person crying in the toilets is ok, and anyone who’s had a little too much gets into a legitimate taxi at the end of the night. She’s eager to big up live acts and share whatever her current musical hyperfixation may be with listeners who refuse to restrict themselves to one or two styles of music.
